Quest is pleased to announce that, due to a special donation from a Quest family, Beats & Bops will be free for the summer! Beats & Bops is a super fun music class for kids of all ages and abilities in partnership with Emily Byrnes, music therapist.
Friday classes will be offered throughout the summer from 12:45-1:15pm.
You Must Pre-Register for Classes
Parents are welcome to join their child(ren).
Open to all ages & abilities.
Each class has a capacity of ten children.
Emily Byrnes graduated from Temple University with a degree in Music Therapy and a concentration in classical voice. She passed her board certification exam in October of 2017, and has been a practicing Music Therapist ever since. She has worked with all ages from as young as 1, to as old as 92. She typically works with individuals on the Autism Spectrum as well as individuals with varying medical, developmental and psychiatric needs. She currently offers services to people in their homes and have recently done groups at Variety Club in Collegeville, PA. She enjoys playing guitar, piano, ukulele and singing. My inspiration for becoming a Music Therapist was making music with her younger brother who is on the Autism Spectrum.
