In April, Director Sandy McCloskey was honored with the 2010 Humanitarian Leader of Distinction Award given by the Greater West Chester Sunrise Rotary Club.  Sandy was nominated for this special recognition by Quest Volunteer and Rotarian, Cynthia Ericson. 

At the Awards Gala, Sandy received several citations from state officials, including House of Representatives sponsor, Barbara McIlvaine Smith.  An excerpt from her citation reads:

“Under Ms. McCloskey’s leadership, the therapists, families and supporters of Quest Therapeutic Services have created an atmosphere where children with disabilities shed their physical barriers and experience new freedoms in movement, socialization and connection with the environment.  The success of this Commonwealth, the strength of our communities and the overall vitality of American society depend, in great measure, upon the dedication of individuals such as Ms. McCloskey who use their considerable talents, energies, and resources to serve others.”
