Every Contribution Helps a Child Grow

As a not-for-profit 510 (c) (3) organization, we rely heavily on individual and corporate donations to ensure that each qualified child that comes through our door has every resource available to help him or her reach their full potential — regardless of their ability to pay. Your tax-deductible donation will help support our treatment programs and foster research of the most current and advanced therapy techniques.

A donation on your part can give a lifetime of benefits to a child with special needs. Ways to donate include:

Annual Appeal
You can direct your gift to benefit scholarships, feed and hay for the horses, professional development opportunities for staff, equipment, etc. Gifts are most commonly made by cash or appreciated securities, the latter providing a double tax benefit, assuming the securities have been held for more than one year.

United Way
Designate your United Way donation to Quest Therapeutic by using United Way of Southeastern Pennsylvania Donor Choice #14571, or write in our name and address on the form. For more information please talk to your employer, or call us.

Memorial and Honorary Giving
Another wonderful giving opportunity is to make a gift in memory of a loved one or to honor someone on a special day (birthday, anniversary, graduation, etc.). These gifts can be given for unrestricted or special purposes.

Endowment and Capital Gifts
The Quest Board and staff are working now to ensure its future legacy of serving children with special needs. Quest is establishing an endowment fund to so that the investment in our property, facility, and programs is carried out long into the future. The development of a permanent endowment fund is a critical step in ensuring our long-term success and self sufficiency. Gifts are also being accepted to assist with the financial transfer of the 10 acre property from its current owner to Quest, so that the property will remain preserved and maintained for the intended philanthropic mission of the organization. In addition, a capital gift can be directed to the pay off of the final building costs associated with the construction of the Quest’s state-of-the-art indoor arena and treatment facility completed in November 2004.

Special Purpose such as Professional Development
Our vision is to cultivate therapists who are nationally recognized as leaders in their field and to further develop our clinical affiliation program that teaches therapy students from local universities. Toward this goal, funds are sought for educational resources to maintain our leadership position.

Life-Income Gifts
For donors who wish to make a substantial gift to Quest Therapeutic Services, but maintain maximum income for their lifetime or for that of another beneficiary, a Charitable Remainder Trust may be the answer. A trust combines the benefits of creating income for the donor and the donor's family, with immediate tax deductions the year the gift is made.

Bequests
By including a bequest in your will, not only can you provide important support for Quest Therapeutic Services, but also reduce or eliminate state and federal estate taxes. Bequests can take various forms: specific, general, residual, contingent — and can support general or restricted purposes.

We are registered with the PA Bureau of Charitable Organizations. For more information about any of these giving programs, please contact Sandra McCloskey at SandraMcCloskey@msn.com.
