Programs and Services
Early Intervention Program
Quest therapists provide therapy services in the home and community to families of children with special needs from birth to three years old. Quest therapists plan and implement Individual Family Service Plans that are parent and child centered.
School Program
Quest therapists see children to improve skills so they can function to the best of their ability in their school environment. Goals are written into the Individualized Education Plan, and can be achieved by working on exercises and activities both on and off the horse.
Hippotherapy Program Description
- Premier hippotherapy center serving Pennsylvania and Delaware
- Member center of the North American Riding for the Handicapped Association
- Children receive the benefits of the skill of experienced pediatric therapists, along with the physical and emotional healing power of horses.
- Quest focuses on providing family-centered therapy, where the family is an important member of the therapy team. Parents, grandparents, siblings, and other relatives frequently observe sessions, and therapists instruct caregivers to carry over home exercise programs. In this way, skills can emerge that are important to both the child and family.
- The unique environment is highly motivating, providing an opportunity for children to work harder than they would in other therapy settings. Progress is made quickly due to increased enthusiasm, focus and willingness to maintain an upright position on the horse.
