"Emilie" gives Gifts to Quest Instead of Getting Presents!

Four year-old Emilie's friends and family, donated $250.00 to Quest for our programs.  She chose to have donations made to Quest instead of getting any birthday presents.

Please let us know if you would like to have a "giving birthday"!  We will be happy to provide you with envelopes and flyers to insert into your invitations. Unrestricted funding like this is so important to the success of our programs.  Great idea for weddings, anniversaries and more!

We will use these donations in the area of most immediate financial need.

Think about it:  A birthday "gift" is a way to GIVE to our life-changing programs and therapy horses!

bikers.preview.jpg

Quest is a proud to be a beneficiary of the Brandywine Valley Roubaix - 1st annual Grand Fondo/Gravel Grinder Race! SUNDAY APRIL 3, 2016

Chester County Velo and WCCX is pleased to announce the 1st annual Brandywine Valley Roubaix (BVR). This Grand Fondo/Gravel Grinder takes the rider through the scenic country-side of the Brandywine Valley, one of the most unspoiled areas in the Mid-Atlantic. The full ride is 55 miles (4,000 feet of climbing) with over 40% consisting of gravel/mix surface including the famed 1 mile long Hill Top Road climb (10% grade in some sections). The course is suited for both road (25 mm tires best) and Cyclocross bikes and will have a road bypass option for avoiding several of the more technical sections.

As with previous WCCX events, they set aside a portion of the proceeds - Quest will benefit this year. If any of our volunteers and our families would like to race, or help and volunteer for a few hours on Sunday, let us know. Information on registering for the race and more course details check out: www.bikereg.com/brandywine-valley-roubaix

Eva's Tour for a Cure

One of the kids we serve at Quest had an event on Saturday, October 3rd where she raised $4,000 for the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation. There was a motorcycle Poker Run and Beef/Chicken Beer family friendly event to support "Eva's Tour for a Cure". This is the 6th year Eva and her family have organized this benefit.  This year the poker run was almost rained out but the fun continued at the Christiana American Legion in Chrisitana, PA  17509. Contact Eva's mom Melissa at 484-883-8139 or evastourforacure@yahoo.com

Melissa Nelson and Eva and her family did a wonderful job - more details will follow with a reschedule of the poker run in the near future.  Check back here for more info on "Eva's Tour for a Cure”

All proceeds go to the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation.
