Quality therapy, redefined and developed with your child in mind.

Why Hippotherapy?

Hippotherapy is a specialized therapy approach that uses the natural movement of a horse to help improve balance, posture, strength, and walking. The horse’s rhythmic motion closely mimics the movement of the human body during walking, providing powerful sensory input that supports the brain and nervous system.

This unique approach is especially beneficial for children with developmental and neuromotor challenges, including low muscle tone, spasticity, attention difficulties, and traumatic brain injury. Through the horse’s consistent and dynamic movement, children build core strength, postural control, and confidence in a way that cannot be replicated in a traditional clinic.

Hippotherapy is a meaningful and effective part of a comprehensive therapy program—helping children move better, feel stronger, and reach their full potential. At Quest, Hippotherapy may be integrated into your child’s Occupational or Physical Therapy plan of care to support their overall goal attainment.

Early Intervention Services

Early Intervention (EI) provides support and therapy services for infants and toddlers from birth to age three who have developmental delays or are at risk for developmental challenges. These services focus on helping children build essential skills during the most important years of brain growth.

Early Intervention is family-centered and play-based, meeting children where they are in their natural environments—such as home, daycare, or the community. Therapists work closely with caregivers to support skills like movement, communication, social interaction, feeding, and daily routines.

By identifying and addressing developmental needs early, Early Intervention helps children gain confidence, independence, and a strong foundation for future learning and success.

Physical Therapy Services

Pediatric Physical Therapy at Quest focuses on helping children build strength, confidence, and independence through purposeful movement and play. Our therapists work with infants, toddlers, children, and adolescents to support gross motor development, balance, coordination, and functional mobility.

We partner closely with families to create individualized treatment plans that meet each child where they are and celebrate every milestone along the way. Therapy sessions are engaging, goal-driven, and designed to help children succeed in their daily routines.

At Quest, we believe movement is powerful. Through compassionate care and evidence-based practice, pediatric physical therapy helps children explore their world with confidence and joy.

Occupational Therapy Services

Pediatric Occupational Therapy at Quest supports children in developing the skills they need to participate fully in everyday life. Through play-based, meaningful activities, our therapists help children build independence in areas such as self-care, fine motor skills, sensory processing, attention, and emotional regulation.

We partner closely with families to create individualized, strengths-based treatment plans that support success at home, school, and in the community. Sessions are engaging, goal-driven, and designed to help each child gain confidence in navigating daily routines and challenges.

At Quest, we believe every child deserves the opportunity to thrive. Occupational therapy helps children develop the tools they need to engage, grow, and reach their full potential.

“My two children receive services through Quest. Their participation in hippotherapy has been very beneficial and is often difficult to access because of its limited availability throughout the community, as well as financial obligation. Quest has been able to provide scholarships for qualifying clients, which allowed my sons to participate in their essential therapy sessions without causing financial hardship to our family. The dedicated, highly trained staff and volunteers give countless hours of their time each week, and I believe the community benefits immensely from the services Quest provides. It is my hope they will be able to continue to assist their underserved population for many more years.”
