               Linda Lightner
              Creative Director
Children's Hospital of Philadelphia

Linda’s first job after college was as an assistant to noted playwright Lillian Hellman, an experience that enhanced her appreciation for the power of the written word. She then pursued a long career in consumer advertising, as a writer and creative director, developing successful campaigns for major brands such as ALPO Petfoods, Scott Paper, Weaver Chicken, Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia, Hershey Pasta, Tastykake, Abington Memorial Hospital, Certainteed Roofing, Mannington Floors, and numerous financial institutions.

Since 2003, Linda has served as Creative Director at Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia, a role in which she supervises the creative development of all Hospital advertising, publications, marketing collateral material, and educational videos. She also led the institution’s multi-year rebranding effort, including the development of a new brand platform and resulting marketing campaigns. It is a great privilege to tell CHOP’s story to the outside world.

Linda was educated at Wells College and the Institut d’Etudes Politiques in Paris. She lives in Glen Mills with her husband, Joe, with whom she has two wonderful adult daughters. In addition to serving on Quest’s Board of Directors, Linda volunteers regularly in the Quest barn. As an “old beginner” rider, she spends as many spare hours as possible on horseback, making up for lost time.
