Early Intervention

Our Early Intervention Program supports children and their families through coordinated multidisciplinary care that involves combinations of physical, occupational, and speech therapy, as well as specialized instructors. These services take place in the child's home or community.

Quest therapists develop partnerships with families that allow for open communication, trust, shared responsibility, and mutual respect. They strive to offer their resources to strengthen and support the family as a unit to enhance the child's growth and acquisition of skills. Supports and services are activity-oriented and based on the interests and enjoyments of the child.

The early childhood years present a singular opportunity to influence lifelong development and prevent or minimize developmental problems. Timely intervention can:

  • Increase the developmental gains for your child
  • Improve parents’ knowledge and abilities
  • Boost coping skills and confidence in your child and yourself
  • Enhance the quality of life for your family

Services are contracted through Chester County Mental Health/Intellectual & Developmental Disabilities.  If you have concerns regarding your child’s development from birth to 3 years old, contact the Chester County Service Coordination Unit at 610-344-5948 or visit their website at www.chesco.org/mhidd
