Music Therapy

Quest contracts with Ms. Emily for all of our free music classes.

Emily Byrnes has been a board certified music therapist since 2017. She graduated from the music therapy program at Temple University with a bachelor’s degree in 2017. Emily has worked with people of all ages and abilities, giving them opportunities to express themselves via music.

She plays the guitar, piano and ukulele, while singing is her favorite instrument. Emily first became interested in music therapy when she was in high school, working with her younger brother who is on the autism spectrum. They have performed together in talent shows and open mics.

A fun fact about Emily is, she has a signed guitar from Taylor Swift, who inspired Emily to learn to play the guitar when she was 14. Emily works with non-profits and organizations such as Quest Therapeutic, Variety Club, Devereuax and Melmark, as well as individuals privately.  Ms. Emily believes that music is the universal language, which is a beautiful way to connect with others.

Sessions run September- end of May on Tuesdays from 9:45-10:15. For any cancellations, please check out our facebook page for the most up to date information.
